Dish Rack with Cover

Hi everyone. It's my first time posting here.

hmm. We have many german cockroaches in the kitchen and with this I want to protect our dishes as we store them in the dish rack.

I want to protect our dish rack with cover from cockroaches but my problem is that I can't find one locally. So I want to make one.

My idea is buying a big tupperware and making holes with it and covering the holes with a material like filter sock so water can drain but little roaches can't go in. Can you share some other ideas that can help me build one?

Thank you very much.
