Deadbolt issue

I just replaced the single cylinder deadbolt on my back door. The deadbolt works fine from the outside but when I try to turn the deadbolt from the inside, it's very difficult and I can barely move it. What'd I do wrong?

Thanks!

its a tough call not knowing what type of dead bolt you installed. I would suggest removing it a rereading the directions and installing it again. If this is something that you haven't performed before, reading the directions usually brings attention to something you missed.
If i had to guess, I would think that the turning splines are not mated up. BOB

Thanks, I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling this weekend (got hit with 6" of snow last night but this weekend it should warm up to 40). I've done deadbolts and door handles without problems before. I'm guessing the turning splines are matched up because when the key turns the deadbolt, the inside handle moves along with it. Then I can use the inside handle to unlock the deadbolt if it were locked from the outside. Hope that makes sense.
