No is the simple ansewer.
Sand for ever and take the chance of going thorugh the surface if there not solid wood or just buy new cabinet doors.

Covering wood grain with paint

Fine Paints of Europe makes a product called brushing putty. It is very expensive ($120/gal). It is basically really thick oil paint that you brush on, let it dry, and then sand it off with a palm sander. It takes a lot of sanding to get it smooth.

I used this on my kitchen cabinets, but just on the boxes. It would have been way too much work to do the doors; I got new doors and drawer fronts. It is a lot easier to sand flat surfaces than any intricate details. After two coats and about 50 sheets of sandpaper, you would not know that they are oak cabinets.

Hope this helps.

google " wood grain filler paste " without the quotes to find exactly what you need.
