cost of screened in porch

I have a 10x10 covered porch that I would like to have screened in. Could I get an estimate of the cost?

That's a pretty vague question ... Considering you didn't say what country/location you're in, what the design is, what the existing home looks like ... Presumably you want something that ties in with the existing home ??

Call a local contractor. Just as with most things prices very by location and most pros will want to see the space before quoting a price for the work. I for one would never quote blind.

I am quite sure that you could get an estimate of costs, yes.

Your welcome.

Andy.

We do not mean to be sarcastic but quoting a price, without knowing more about what you want and actually seeing the job would be extremely unfair to you. And here is the official position on providing costs refined by the site moderators.

"How much will it cost?" Asking for price estimates here.

By the way, not a cost issue but will your owner's association (if you have one) let you screen in the structure as you plan?

Yes.

And you'd do this by calling a local porch screening contractor and have them quote you an estimate.

For a screened in porch, you can call local contractors to get a price.

If you want to DIY, many sunroom companies offer DIY kits. Just google it and ensure that you are looking at the screened in option, instead of the glass option. Once you get the cost of the supply of the screened in porch material, you can estimate a contractors cost by multiplying it by 2.5 - this is a general rule of thumb. If any of the DIY kits are appropriate for your site, perhaps you will save money and DIY.
