I have a corian counter top that has a sink made into it,i want to cut out the sink and put in a different one ,my question is can a under mount sink be installed here and be made to look good or will it have to be top mount
I am guessing that the cut out for a top mount sink, such as the one in there now is too large for an undermount installation. For undermount sinks they usually have the Corian cover the edge of the sink basins by 1/4" or more, forming an overhang. This prevents water from sitting on the rim of the sink and possibly leaking out the sides and into the cabinet. Find a Corian fabricator and see if they have any tricks for making it work.
