cheap siding?
 

I am looking at putting some new siding on an old crappy mobile home I plan on living in for a few years while a real house gets built.

currently it has damaged vinyl siding with no backing. new siding will also let me throw in whatever windows I can find instead of trying to match the current openings (It needs all new windows too, oh well, it was free).

I am leaning toward the T1-11 plywood panels I figure they'd add some structure, stop the wind, an add a minimal amount of insulation.

any other (preferably cheaper) suggestions?

You won't get a better bang for a buck then painted T-111.
