Ceiling drywall on older home bathroom
Bought a duplex, older home and am trying to renovate myself. There was wallpaper on the bathroom ceiling. I peeled it back and discovered some mold and bad ceiling drywall areas.
The drywall has a ceramic type layer that sounds like glass when it hits the trash can and the under layer is cement like in appearance. Can I peel back all the top layer and salvage the cement backing.
Gong to have to post a picture so we can try and guess what it is you have now.
None of that sounds like a reguler ceiling.
This does not happen to be a concrete building is it?
