caulking

I re-caulked the bathroom vanity splash-board and it turned out good. I then re-stained and polyurethaned the splash-board. I now realize I did it in the wrong order since the polyurethane pooled onto the caulk. The caulk now has a dirty look to it from having polyurethane on it. Is there any way I can get the poly off without damaging the caulking?

Best to just cut off the caulk. There's nothing you can do to the poly without doing it to the stain.
