Can this door sweep be used vertically?

Can this door sweep be used vertically? (so it can slide with the door)

I was thinking of getting 3 of them, and placing them vertically on my patio door.

Good idea or no?

TIA

You probably could, but why??? There are products made for the verticle jambs and they fit in length.

Bad idea.

Call a reputable handyman, window and door contractor (as there may be other issues going on that need to be addressed, visit a reputable window and door store to get their advice or visit with your local big box store for their advice.

That application is a vinyl strip that is intended as a door sweep and is not meant for use as a gasket/ seal. Even if you were looking for a sweep I wouldn't recommend using it and now my next question is why were you going to purchase it off amazon without seeing what you were buying or were you just using it for visual representation?

Good luck and be safe
