Bathroom venting

My old bathroom fan vented into the attic..I'm installing a new one. Can I vent it into the garage as that is the closest location to the fan.

To do it correctly, you vent the fan to the outside of a house. You can do it anyway you want, it's your house.

It should be vented outside, and ideally, sloped downwards to prevent condensation from dripping back towards your fan. Best location is the side of the house. I've seen new construction these days with bathroom vents on the roof, or out to the soffit on the rear of the house.

3rd vote - Absolutely outside...no other viable option...

Thanks all, outside it is!
