Bathroom tub to shower remodel...

Also, forgot to ask, I ordered the 32x60 center drain Kerdi shower kit. It seems that either I miscalculated or something, but with the shower pan in place it takes the entire space of the previous tub. Now if I were to put the shower pan and then the Kerdi curb I would have even less space from the toilet to where the curb begins. Does anyone know if I can cut the shower pan so that the curb and the shower pan together occupy the same space as the previous tub? The manual recommends to cut the same amount from both sides, but I don't see in this case any issue by cutting from just the curb side. What do you guys say?

I wish I could help you but I don't know either, maybe one of the fellows who do know will pop in here in a little while.

Just a thought, will cutting off on one side only affect the location of your drain?

Nope. I would only be cutting from the edge to fit the curb. I just read and saw on youtube that it is acceptable to cut it. So really just curious about the plumbing. Thanks

Is it too cancel your order and get a receptor with an end drain to match the tub drain. I know Kohler makes a nice cast iron receptor that will go in the same space as a tub.
