Bathroom Tiling Dilemma

When tiling a bathroom, is it best to tile around a door frame, or if we are replacing the door and frame, is it ok to tile underneath where the new frame will be....and worry about replacing the frame and door later?? Are we creating a headache for ourselves?

Is it ok to at least have the cement board installed under where the door frame will be?

The correct way is to tile underneath the door frame.

On wall tiling, I would remove the door and then install my wall board, then install my door and jamb, trim it out and then set my tile. on floor tiling I would install the trim after the saddle is installed. BOB

Both are correct... CBU under the door, then door, then tile. The tile ends at the inside edge of the door stop. The CBU goes beyond that point so a marble threshold can be installed.
