Bathroom remodel question

Hello, I am helping a friend remodel a bathroom. They currently have an old cast iron tub that they want to take out and replace with a pre-fab shower stall with a seat. Does anyone know where I can get one for a good price? Also, the vanity they have is a double and the left side is a hamper with the bottom cut out to allow the clothes to fall into the laundry room. Any idea where to pick up another one to replace this one? Thanks a lot.

Bathroom remodel question

Shower units that have a built in seat are hard to find.
Your friend might be better off with a 60" long white styrene unit similar to:

A low cost portable seat
similar to these, can be added :

A permanent seat or a fold up seat is also an option, but for these framing would most likely have to be added to the back wall to support the load.

I cannot visualize your vanity question. Can you post a Pic?

Bathroom remodel question

Thanks a lot. I don't have a pic of the vanity, but it is just a basic vanity with a sink on top 3 drawers on the right and a cabinet to the left of the drawers. The cabinet has 2 doors and a divider in the middle. The right side is for storage and the left door opens up and there is just a hole in the bottom leading to a laundry chute. If I could find a vanity that is similar, but with a built-in hamper on the left side, I could just cut the bottom out and have the clothes go directly to the chute. Thanks again.

Bathroom remodel question

A suggestion on vanities--Go to the kitchen cabinet section of your favorite store--
Every kitchen cabinet maker also makes matching vanities.

You may have to customize a standard cabinet or find a cabinet making shop to build exactly what you need--Mike--

They also come in a 3 piece unit for remodeling.
