Basement framing- need help


Is it ok to use a metal as a base and wood for studs. I want it to be to code for nj. Please someone , help

Metal? What's wrong with pressure treated wood? Call and ask your local building inspector.

Basement framing- need help


are you talking about using steel stud track for your plate? if thats the case no.. the studs wont stay in place. dont mix and match framing material
