Another raising celing question.

bill333 Newbie   Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Texas Posts: 4	Another raising celing question. I would like to raise mu roof joist from the present 7 feet up one foot to 8 feet. I know this will want to push the walls out. If I swap 2x4 and put 2x6 in their place will it work. I also wanted to use hurrican ties to keep the walls from bowing out.
