Advice on insulating a music studio for heat AND sound

This is a small room in an old house from the 20's-I cannot drill into the walls to put in fibre insulation or whatnot (bear with me here, I'm only 22), so I want to cover the walls and ceiling with material - including the windows, as this is a private space for creativity and production - not for entertaining folks or whatnot. Ideas?? Fiber batting I assume is hazardous to health in the open, though I could cover it with another material. I would love to line it with thinsulate sheets but that stuff seems to be expensive. Love to hear people's creative input on this. Wouldn't want to spend more than 100 dollars

you won't get anything useful for sound treatment done for $100, you might be able to address the heat issue though...
