$16.50 Kohlor Elongated toilets, get'em while they last

i was in Home Depot yesterday looking at toilets, and noticed they had Kohler Wellworth toilets on clearance. They where $11 for the bowl, and $5.50 for the tank. It seems that Kohler ( and most of the others) are going to a new single package that includes bowl, tank, seat and flange, and Depot just wanted to get rid of the old package ASAP. I picked up two units , and a spare tank ( you'd pay $5.50 for the flapper alone).

I told my brother who lives in another state about the deal and he went to a local store that had just the tanks, and a store 10 miles away had the bowls, both at the same prices i paid.

if you are looking for a great deal on a white elongated toilet, i'd make a trip to the big orange box before they are all gone!!

i left for the weekend, won't be home until monday. i just left my brother a message and asked him to email me the exact SKU's off his receipt. I'll post them as soon as i he sends it

Could that be a local (regional?) sale? I stopped in this morning and unless I was looking at the wrong thing (entirely possible) they were $169.00. I actually need a new toilet (or two) and for $20 I would be stupid not to buy!

Were you referring to the individual pieces or the entire toilet kit in a box? I have pictures of the tags of the items I was looking at - if I can figure Evernote out I'll post them.

it could be regional, or national, but only if stock is on hand

this was the two items (bowl and tank) each in it's own box, with it's own sku. i have the sku for the tank ( will post shortly) i'll get the sku for the bowl tomorrow when i get home

if you take the sku for the bowl to service desk, they can search local stores to see who has. my bro went to two different delaware stores, found tanks in one, bowls in another

I missed out on the toilets. I stopped by today to pick up some lumber and asked one of the hd employees I know. He said they didn't even know about the closeout sale. A guy came in that was aware of it and bought all 30 they had in stock for $10.00 a piece, for both toilet and tank. Not a bad deal for him. They had a few Husky 5000 watt generators they were closing out. They were originally 700.00, marked down to 300.00. Not a bad deal. I didn't buy one but was pretty tempted.

Anyone looking to match a section they already have in the Chicago land area, the HD in Deerfield, on Lake cook road, has two of the white bowls and two of the Biscuit tanks as of last night- I asked them to look for the Biscuit bowls at other stores and there were 0. The guy helping me didn't have the skew # for the white tanks and didn't want to figure it out, so I have no idea if those are available anywhere. Everything I found was $10 per item.

He was so kind as to explain to me that all of their toilets now come as a complete kit and that it was easier to purchase it that way - at 5-8 times the cost of course
