Yacht repair
 

I want to repair the deck of a sailboat that has moisture in the balsa core. Is there anyone here,in this chatroom,that knows how to do this work ? Or,....does anyone know of a chatroom that deals with DIY boatwork ?

Hey captain, sorry I missed this post so late. I happen to have resources to several boat carpentry and repair techniques. I haven't been able to do much work on boats aside from starting to build some stations for a boat I hope to make. However, I'm an excellent carpenter and have done a lot of reading on the subject of boat repair. I'd like to give it a try if you're up to it.

I have lived in Indiana for the past 6 years, far from water (which is tough for a boy that grew up in Naples, FL. However, I have just recently (within a month) moved south of Ensenada, Mexico for missionary work at an orphanage. There is a nice size port here and I'm a 10 minute walk to the ocean. Hopefully, I'll get that boat built yet!
