Window mold

Anderson Bay window about 20 years old, exterior vinyl clad interior finished with polyurethane. I noticed a black spot on the interior bottom of main window about 6" long by 1" went outside and found loose fitting vinyl across the bottom of main window.

Caulked across bottom exterior of the window with clear quad now the question how do I get rid of the black (mold) and what do I put in it's place to match the existing polyurethane finish that exists.

Window mold

Every older Anderson window that's clad that I've seen Is completly shot from leaks, Try squeezing the window sill and see if it's mushy. Look at the window from the side and see if it's sagging.
We have been replacing the bay windows with bow windows, they stick out past the side of the house less so there's less down load that causes them to sag.
Once they start to sag the seams open up allowing water to get in and rot from the inside.
I hope this is not the case but just try it.
If all your trying to do is get rid of the mold then just put some bleach on a rag and wipe it off.

Window mold

Hopefully when you caulked you didn't seal over the weep holes.
