What would you do here? - Bathroom Mouldings

There was a glass door on the shower/tub, which we didn't like at all. We removed it, but we're not really sure how to blend the tiles into the wall. Any ideas?

use bull nose or a trim tile

What I would do which would make a much better looking job is this:

I would build this part of the wall that is set back outward so I could go
across it evenly with the tile. This would make a very good looking finished
job and it would not look like it is remodeled. It will just look like this was
always 1 straight wall.

Do you have anything behind this? Did you remove the shower or what kind
of glass door was it.
Did you remove the tub as well? If you did you are leaving a lot of unused space. You could put shelves or even a closet there.

Sure, if he/she can find the same tile. And hopefully, there's not a door on that wall, else the door frame/jamb would also need to be built out.

I'd either use a wood or poly molding or bullnose tile.

What are you planning to do above the tile? I'd replace that wood with drywall, primed and painted.

Yeah, I would replace with Drywall and bring it out even. An offset like that is going to be not too pleasant to the eye. I would even do that and replace all the tile because even if you can find the same tile it will not be the same color unless it was from the same batch. Believe me I know because I did not get enough of floor tile to do my sunroom and kitchen and when I got more it was shades different in color. I luckily had not installed it so I took all of it back and got all tile from the same batch number.

I guess we learn as we go along.

I would extend the tile out another foot or so. Looks like a pretty narrow shower area. Get rid of that wood, replae with wonderboard. Wood will twist and shout up there.

To be honest, I would rip out that tile, rip out that window and remodel the bathroom. I did not see the window in the shower before. Tile is really not too expensive. Best Bang for your buck.
