Water collecting in upstairs balcony

So, I finally got my sash and cord windows open to get out on my upstairs balcony in my Victorian sidehall house. I see a pool of water collected in the corner (could not get picture to load). Basically, it's not level (not uncommon in New Orleans). Nothing is leaking (I took the pic while it was raining and watched it collect), but I need this water to run off. Any suggestions? I was thinking of installing flashing to make a slope, but want to 1) make sure it doesn't look crappy and 2) install it without nailing it as there will be leakage where the nails are. I am VERY new to this, and I have only had this house a few months, so still getting to know it.

Thanks SO MUCH in advance.
