I have recently purchased some white uPVC replacement windows from www.swiftltd.co.uk
I have now fitted these and need to know what would be the best internal window boards to use, hardwood or the laminate type?
What is the easiest to use?
A company called Deceunink to a great range of internal window cills "Novacil". It is a UPVC product that comes in a variety of colours, including some woodgrain finishes. The boards start at a depth of 180mm and go up to about 600mm, so they will fit most applications. Also the boards come with premade corner pieces, angles and ends all in the matching colours. Have a look at http://www.windowsplussupercentre.com/Novacill.html
As they have all the angles and edges premade for you, it makes fitting the cills very easy. The end caps will also cover any minor mistakes made on the cut. The small overlap will tidy up the ends nicely.
