Uneven ceiling/wall line

Where the wall and the cathedral ceiling meet it is a crooked line. I am looking for a way to at least hide it but from what I am reading crown molding is not the answer. I have attached a picture. Thanks for any ideas.

From the picture it looks like the ceiling hangs down at that spot. Is that the case? Meaning either end of it are the same height from floor to ceiling and it just hangs down at that spot.

Your going to have to remove all the sheetrock to fix that one.
That's far more then just a bad tape line.

Yeah, that's in the framing. Trim won't fix it. Possible the wall is sagged in that area (probably a long shot). Are you on a basement or crawl space? Maybe jack that area up?? If you're on a slab, you're going to have to do some tear out to see what the issue is.

it almost looks like its just painted crooked. there are spots further down the wall it looks crooked also. what about just painting it straight? it would make it a lot less noticable.

Is it the entire ceiling straight out from there as well or just right there will it meets the wall. How many inches does it hang down there?
