I'm building a house and need to know how to set roof trusses manually. Can anyone help me?

If you are referring to how to set them on the roof by hand I would suggest that you cheat and rent an all terrane forklift.

I'm not sure what help you need, can you be alittle more specific about what you do or don't know or understand???!!! When I first started in construction we always set trusses by hand!! It's pretty straight forward, just use common sense!! But let fly what questions you have and like I said, be alittle more specific!! Good Luck!!!!!!!!

Dave, you must be another oldtimer. I remember buggylugging trusses by hand, took quite a few guys and is one of the other reasons that my back is bad. LOL
We used to snap the line off center so that it lined up with the edge of the crosstie, better than trying to guess the center. We roughed in the peaks, set them with temp 2X4's until it was sheathing time.
