Trigger change on Hitachi NV 65AH siding nailer - STUMPED

I really need help figuring out how to install the optional full sequential actuation mechanism kit for the Hitachi NV 65AH siding nailer.

This is the kit that changes the gun from bump fire to one nail at a time, for when accuracy is more important than speed. The gun has a reputation for having a hair trigger and double-firing. Thus the optional kit.

The installation instructions are worthless. I see a lot of people have installed this kit and they sound like it's no big deal. I have the trigger off. That was easy. I see the plunger on one end and I removed the back cover of the gun to expose the other end of the valve area, but I cannot see how to get this assembly out in order to change out the parts.

Any help with this would be extremely appreciated.
