treaded 2x4 on all walls or just exterior walls
do i need to use pressure treaded 2x4s on all my walls in the basement or just the exterior walls
Use pressure treated where the studs, sills, etc. are in contact with concrete that is in contact with the soil. You can use an appropriate barrier between the wood and concrete and eliminate the nasty pressure treated wood. Whenever you nail into pressure treated wood, use the appropriate type nails to prevent them from being eaten up.
Just because it is concrete does not mean it must be pressure treated wood.
