I would like to put tile in my kitchen and would like suggestions about the threshold from the door to the tile. I saw a similar post at
Front door threshold problem but I am not sure his answer will be the same for me.
I would like first row of tiles to be full tiles. There is one inch from the door to the current floor. With the thinset, hardy back board, thinset, and tile the door might end up being the perfect height so that no cutting is needed

.
I will cut the bottom of the door trim so the tiles will fit under the trim and the first row will be close to the wall. I will remove the current threshold but I do not know the best way to make a seal from the bottom of the door to a new threshold or what a good choice for a new threshold would be. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Current weather stripping is against the threshold.

I will remove the threshold and tile will under the door trim and parallel to the wall extending along this line.

This current height of the door from the current floor is one inch.

Birds eye view of the whole entry way.
