Swinging Garage Doors

Hey everyone, I am looking to install a set of swinging doors on a garage. My question is has anyone ever sucessfully used t1 11 in this situation, the doors will be big, basically each one will be a full sheet of plywood hanging by hinges on end. I want to make sure that there is no type of twisting, buckling issues. Any other ideas for material. Cannot be expensive such as exotic woods etc..

T-111 can be used but it sounds like you are trying to do it the cheapest way possible. The best way to do it is to use some framing material around the edges and fasten securly. Also, use heavy duty gate type hinges so that you can use through bolts. To avoid buckling in the center fasten with framing material. To avoid twisting, latch both doors top and bottom. It also helps if you can apply an astrigal with which the doors will overlap.
