Studded Walls in Basement

Hello,

I have just a simple question here for a buddy of mine. He is finishing his basement and just wants to have someone come in and stud out his walls. He intends to provide all materials and is curious about cost.

Anyone know a ballpark figure for putting up a few studded frames?

Just for planning, let's say he is putting up 4 walls, each 12 feet long from floor to upper floor joists.

He will provide 2x4s and nails. I know nobody can give an exact cost but just trying to be sure he is not getting robbed when he hires someone.

Thanks,

Eric

Does your friend want it done fast or slow? I ask this because he could get a flat rate or a hourly rate. Also, why doesnt your friend DIY? Hammer, speed square, chalk line and a saw is all he would need.
