Steel Studs ?
Help Please!
I am in the process of installing a chair rail, HOWEVER during my search for studs and my apparent failure to locate any of the wooden variety I came to the realization that my home is a steel frame construction and in my ignorance forgot that the studs would be steel. What options do I have for tacking the chair rail (or any moulding for that matter) to the wall as I guess finishing nails are out of the question? Many Thanks in advance for your expert advice! They make small trim head screws which would be your best bet. Predrill and countersink the head and fill.

You might also want to use some adhesive along with the trim-head screws....
