7 inch rise and a 10 inch run will give you a slope of 35 degrees.
6 1/2 x 10 is 33 degrees.

something around there should work. Stairs are not measured in degrees, but rise/run numbers.

What he said, but actually, according to IRC R311.5.3. min tread depth is 10", max riser height is 7 3/4. And tolerances over the range of steps can't exceed 3/8". Generally, an accepted dimension for both tread/riser is 18", more is OK, less is usually not.
