I have a few 8x4 sheets of diagonal garden lattice that I need to stain to match the porch/deck in the backyard.
I've been using a brush and painting it as best as I can - I've finished 1/2 of one sheet and I've got another 5.5 to go. I'm looking for a way to speed this up without spending a lot of money.
Would something like this - RL Flo-Master Sprayer 2.5 Gallon Black Polyethylene Tank - work? The stain I'm using seems awfully thick - it's a 'solid' color, almost a paint. I don't want to drive all the way to the store and throw $20 dollars away if it's not going to help and I figured people here might have a good idea.
Most stains can be sprayed with a common tank sprayer and then backbrushed or backrolled if they're fairly viscous. If the stuff you're using is too thick then using a roller is probably a pretty good idea.
