Split wood on table top. any ideas?

Pine table we've had for years decided to split this winter. I'm assuming it dried out. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to fix? I attempted using a 1,500 lb force clamp, but the crack wouldn't budge.

It prob split because the house is dry, so put wood glue in the rack, wipe away the excess with a moist towel, and lamp it over night. That might do it, and then you might want to see if you can humidify the houses bit.
