something's leaking but i don't know what it is..

i just bought this 21 year old house, and i want to burn it down.. LOL

So in the basement i had insulation on the upper part of the wall and i noticed there was water in it. I cut it off, and i had a look and it looks lke the concrete is damp. Not really damp but not dry. This area upstairs has a patio door that is getting replaced in the next couple of weeks. I do not see any mould in the joists at all or on the osb. On the exterior of the house, i have cascading stairs that may be pushing water into the wall. I'm not sure what i can do to solve this mystery, wait for my replacement patio door? It doesn't look like it's leaking from the door, maybe from the sill? or under? or from the stairs?. Here are some pics:

above the wall:

This window is at the corner, it wasn't damp on this side

What it looked like before i took out the insulation: This is the other side of the house... there is no pipes where the dampness is located. Just showing you how it was insulated.

Not sure what I am looking at in some of the pics. The duct is obviously keaing from above. Where does it go??

Basement windows is leaking, presumably from a window well with no cover or a leaking cover. Also, no drain gravel deeper in window well.

And not really thrilled at the wires/cables hanging around.

the wires are from a sat dish, and i have 1 ethernet cable... I know it's a mess.. it's a temp solution until i can have enough time to run it properly. I have 2 little ones that are running me off my feet, and leaking problems windows that need tlc, etc etc..

The majority of the pics are of the same wall, and the vent is directly above the leak. This is a vent in front of the patio door.

Here are some outside pics as requested;
