solid interior doors

If i am replacing hollow core doors with solid pine doors from HD can i use the existing jambs?

Yes, however if you currently have 2 hinges then I would add a third, screws will have to be longer and I would put at least one in each hinge thru jamb and into the framing.

Thanks, I was thinking kinda along that line into the framing but I did not see the third hinge but that makes sense for weight. I recently stumbled on to this web site i do like the look of there 6 panel oak door and the price seems resonabile enough i will be putting carbonized bamboo flooring in the hallway i guess they will go together???. any thoughts
