So I installed a Telescopic Attic Ladder

Installation went well but discovered today that my 1/2" furniture grade plywood door is a bit warped (not exactly flat). Any suggestions? Should I cut a new door or install some metal to keep it flat.

Does the door rest on top of the jamb or is there a door stop on the face of the jamb.
If you have a door stop, just remove it and nail it back so that it meets the door all the way around!
Don't forget, that you need a rubber seal between the door and the jamb/stop!

I assume you finished the door(all sides/edges) before installing it??? If no, make a new one. The difference in temp/humidity on attic and conditioned sides will continue to warp almost anything not well finished.
