sloped joist hangers?

Does anybody use these angled hangers for attaching deck stringers to the rim joist for steps going up too a deck? Thanks

The issue I would have is that the bracket would be visable on the outside of the stringer. Simpson has a few options that are concealed inside the stringer that might look better.

SR,
I usually build deck steps with 2 x 8 risers, so I screw right through the riser to fasten them up.

Thanks guys im pretty much just gonna add a set of temporary stairs to the ledger board. Going to use the angled brackets rather then just toe nail them. In the spring once the weather changes ill build the decks with proper attachment for the stairs.. Thank you all..
