Six Panel Hollow door

I installed a new hallow 6 panel door and I need some hooks on the back. I bought a 15 inch hook rack 4 hooks on it and I was wondering how to attach it to the door. Should I just glue it with Gorilla Glue?

Any ideas?

You only have 1-1/8" of space so you need a very short one of these.

You need to drill three holes; a center large one and two small holes to accept the spurs that keep the thing from spinning.

Or if the holes are near the door edge you can drill a large hole and put in a wood dowel, and then use regular wood screws to go into the dowel.

How about those “As Seen On TV” peel and stick, reusable, holds up to 20lbs. Super Hooks.

I think I’ve seen them at the hardware store.

If you want to hang the rack you got I’d through bolt with ” carriage bolts with a acorn nut or a nut & washer with a nut cap on the inside.

Thanks for the ideas. Could I use some Liquid Nails or Gorilla Glue?

Ask the manuf. for the shear strength of those products, if they'll tell you. I'd go with mechanical fasteners.
