Shed Framing and noggings

I am building an 8x12 shed, 2x4 studs @ 16 o.c. I will sheath w/ 1/2 in plywood and then vinyl siding.
One site I've seen recommended using 4 rows of noggings for their framing (they were using 2x4 @24 in oc).
My question: are noggings even necessary? I plan to put 2 rows - I figure this is overkill - any thoughts?

It should not be neccessary, based on the height of the shed walls and 16" OC framing.

The site that mentioned using noggings, is because of the 24" OC framing. You would need the noggings to span the areas behind the horizontal plywood seams, and the plywood in general.

Thank you. I forgot to mention that the height of the walls=7 ft. I guess noggings would be overkill in this application, and be a waste of time/resources.

Yes, they would be over-kill and unnecessary.
