Shed doors

I have an aluminum shed and the doors that slide left to right. The doors got all beat up and wouldnt close right. Then a strong winter storm really threw them out of wrack, followed by a thunder storm shorty after.

I took the doors off and was thinking about building wooden doors, the entire front of the shed would be rebuild as a stud wall with an opening for doors and be attached to the existing metal walls, my questions is this...

how to attach the bottom part of the stud wall to the cement floor... Tap cons? Red heads? Other?

you can find them in HD, Loews's they come with there Owen drill bit and hex head driver. if you are using 2x lumber I would suggest 2-1/2 - 3" tap cons. place your bottom plate on your mark and drill through the plate into the slab.
What I use that works best for me is an impact driver to set them . A drill driver works fine, but found they like to snap the shanks of the tap con's. GOOD LUCK BOB

Tapcons would probably be ok, but because the wall will support the door, and the racking that it might produce, I would be inclined to sink a few reheads in the slab just to ensure the plate does not move. I've seen more than a few tapcons break off, though poor installation practices were primarily to blame.
