I have a 30" x 32" stained glass window panel which I would like to hang on my living room wall with lights behind it. I would like to know how to go about building a frame for this or get any ideas how I should proceed with this project. I am going to be using rope LED lights but again if there is another way of doing this I am open for suggestions.
You need to make a picture frame...cut a slot in the wood to hold the stained
glass and insert the glass inside.
Then you can make a smaller frame for the other side to attach
the lights to.
it would be nice to put a mantle type top -- along the top to dress it up,
so that it looks like a real window.
We've done lots like this, on windows we've given away. We
have three windows outside ( just in the frames, without
the mantle top)
