sealing wood


what could I seal the back side of a finished piece of oak with that construction adhesive will stick to?? thanks

I would advise looking at the label on the adhesive you plan on using. It should tell you the conditions in which it will work. I would imagine an oil sealer would not adhere as well as some other types. Also look at different types of sealers. Make sure you get the right one for the conditions it will have to endure such as rain, snow and temperature changes.
