Sealing a Porch From the Inside

I Have An Old Home With Large Front Porch, Floor Of Porch Is Leaking Into Basement Under This Area. How Can I Seal Wood From Inside?

there is a rubber spray in a can you could try, but i'd use it inside AND out. but you should really post a picture so we can get a better idea, the rubber might actually make it worse...... all depends.

Sealing from the inside will only lead to the futher decomposition of the structure. Water infiltration issues MUST be dealt with at the exterior building envelope. Unfortunately, the question is too general to give a specific repair.

Post pictures of the exterior and let us know exactly where it is leaking, and we can help more effectively. There might be a way to flash it.

No offense dangermouse, but rubbery spray would only be a band-aid and probably won't be effective.
