sagging door sill
Both my back door and garden doors have sagging sills, both corners bend down. The back door sticks a bit, but with the garden doors only one will open and that's with difficulty. I'm getting rather confusing advice on what the problem may be. I've checked that the doors are level and the hinges are fine.
Could this be a problem with the header, or could it just be the sill? Do I really have to remove all the siding from that part of the house to address the issue!

I think a picture is needed to help with understanding the issues you have. Do you mean the thresholds are sagging? What are they made of? What are thresholds sitting on top of? When I hear sill I think of the framing member sitting on the foundation but understand sill is also used for door thresholds. Just want to make sure we're talking about the same thing.

You mention both the top and bottom of the door as the problem. An unlikely situation. As Bob says, post a photo.

If both corners of your threshold are bending down it could be because the sill underneath is rotted and because you may a missing or improperly supported header.
