Riving Knife for Dewalt 744, type 4 table saw

I would like to find a riving knife for use with my DeWalt 744, type 4 table saw. I called DeWalt and they don't have one to work with the type 4 saw. The newer models provide for this. They suggested taking the cover of the blade guade assembly. Simply taking off the cover off the blade guard assembly doesn't work since the kickback assemblly etc. are about one-half inch above the top of the blade. Perhaps others have run into this problem and have a solution. The riving knife would be a very useful safety device when making shallow groves for dados etc.
