Reversing wood grain Hardieplank?

I am rebuilding my 200 year old barn and using HardiePlank. Since there are a lot of 'squares", I have been buying it off Craig's List (a hint, my local building supplier sells it for about 30% less than Home Depot. A lot of CL listers bought it at HD, so they discount they offer only brings it to the price of new at building supply house).

ANy-way, I have a long way to go 15-20 squares. I see a lot of wood grain Hardie on CL, but I want to he barn to look original and "finished" so I am using "smooth".

My question, if I flip "wood grain" is the rear an acceptable match to the smooth finish product?
