Resheathing round power meter, what should I do?

I'm resheathing and siding my house and I'm not sure what I should do around where the electrical comes in, it looks like the original sheathing was put under the power meter which will make it hard to tear off the old stuff. Or should I have an electrician (or power company) come and pull it off?

Resheathing round power meter, what should I do?

I had a piece of painted plywood installed behind my meter
Its flush to the side of the meter
I then side up to the meter
You could cut the existing siding flush with the meter
Then side up to the meter

Or you will need an electrician & probably need power shut off
Here that requires a permit & inspection
