replacing kitchen drawer slides
I hate side mount slides for kitchen drawers.....
You need to look at the specs on the slide....they will give you a min and max depth.
For a good reference, visit Rockler.com and do a search on drawer slides. Unless they are on sale, they tend to be expensive. But they have some good stuff.
Also do a search on self closing slides.
The under mount slides I have used had a bit of built in 'slop' in them....in other words, one side was fixed on position, but the other side gave you about 1/8th to a 1/4" of variation on position.
