Replacing Drop-in with Slide-in Range will it fit?

I ordered a Frigidaire 30 slide-in #FES3555ES that will arrive in a week, to replace a Westinghouse drop-in # KD220GDD2 (could be KD220G002) I pulled the drop-in out some to see what I would have to do to the bottom and found out my cabinet opening as well as the cut out is only 29 3/8 not 30 . Will the new slide-in fit?

Go to the Frigidare website and get the exact width of the unit you bought. If it's larger then 29 1/4, the opening will need to be made larger.

Frigidaire only gives that the cut out should but 30" not the real width.

Thanks Ron
I found the Frigidaire site you were talking about with the installation instructions and on page 8 & 9 it shows how to install in 29" opening
with optional kit.
