replace wooden columns

we have two wooden colums built in the 50s sitting on concrete ledges that keep rotting. we need to replace them. what is the most economical and time saving way to do this.

You will need to post a picture of the posts and the roof that it holds up----

Some columns are structural-they are holding up the house--

Others are decorative---cantilevered truss roof porches are an example---
